MANÁ!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I agree...Maná rules the spanish rock scene , I like them. There are also "not so commercial"
bands wich are extremely good (ex: Patricio Rey y sus Redonditos....).Of course they are not widely known because of this non-commercial spirit.

No te olvides de Los Enanitos Verdes!

Los Enanitos have some good songs but they're not among the best argentinian bands IMHO.But they've been out there for a long time...

Hoy me comi TRES empanadas de queso, a la salud de Roberto, de grbmusic y de Megaman, con abundante chimichurri. Ademas de su respectivo bife.
Como ya les dije, estoy muy gordo.

¿Que es chimichurri?

I can't believe they call it chimichurri in Mexico too!! It's a mix of spices , used to condiment meats (asado , pollo , pescado) and maybe other foods.Includes garlic , chilli , parsley , salt , plenty of oil , sometimes pepper and other stuff.Extremely popular around here , my father prepared some "chimi" a few days ago.

Listening to Mechanix.mp3 by Megadeth (from the "Rude Awakening" double live album that was scheduled to be recorded in Argentina and they later recorded in the states because of "9/11 panic").Oh the quality , sounds like...Xing (old) headbang.gif headbang.gif headbang.gif

headbang.gif YU0 COVER VERSION IST DEATH, KN0W ME NOW! YOU LISTEN ME?

Bah. I once saw a techno-type cover version of "Another Brick In The Wall" on MTV, it's just pathetic!

(BTW. As you've probably noticed, I've been following this thread for a long time, but have only come across about one song or so that you posted which I actually knew! smile.gif)

Listening to: "The River (Live)" by Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band, from "Live In New York City (CD1)" (2001) on foobar2000 v0.62a. That's a pretty good variation of the studio version (except for the accordion playing, I absolutely hate that instrument). The intro and sax playing is great.

Blur's latest album, "Think Tank"

Took my LiteOn 24102B over 3 hours to rip/encode with EAC because it's copy protected. I got 0.2x speed through the whole thing with the first 2 rows of error correction lighting constantly, but I got "no errors ocurred" on the log and no listenable artifacts.

BTW, I tried my other drive, a generic 10x DVD reader which originally failed to recognize the CD as an audio CD (it came up as having 13 little data tracks and 1 big-ass data track). I used "manually detect TOC" on EAC's newest and then it was recognized as audio CD and ripped flawlessly at 4x secure!

So much for copy-protected sh*t!

Oh, I forgot to mention, the album rules!

For my argentinian friends on this thread and to Mr. Roberto: if you like Babasonicos, get this CD, ASAP!

Volcano-

First... laugh.gif I just said it was interesting. Still very undecided about this one. wink.gif

Second.... Really? I thought I had too many mainstream things. I look at a lot of what people post in here, and you are, just guessing, a Classic Rock fan. Y/N?

And here is another just for you to find and check out. It's a little more likely that you'll know this one. B)

I guess so (dunno if "Classic Rock" is the correct term, but oh well). Being a Pink Floyd fan, I'm also interested in progressive rock. And then there's ordinary mainstream pop/rock of course...

Great album, by the way.
It was produced by a mexican hip-hopper, kinda the mexican attemp at Timbaland/Dr. Dre thing

You're right, my friend. I'm sorry for the mistake, I was listening "Cosas Imposibles " at the moment that I wrote the post. I should wrote: Now listening Gustavo Cerati - Siempre Es Hoy (Full Album), right now: Cosas Imposibles. By the way, have you listen "Karaoke", is a great song.
Right now I'm listening Van Halen - Jump.mpc from 1984's album.
