I just downloaded 11 Metheny albums from a p2p network. 128 kbps, but that's the closest you can get to some "cult" music here in theis hellhole. dry.gif

"Lowedges" by Richard Hawley (on Setanta Records): a great songwriter and guitarist. His voice and music remind me of Lee Hazelewood and Johnny Cash. He once was part of Pulp and The Longpigs.

His website features six mp3 live and acoustic tracks for free dowload pleasure.

I'm listening now Coti Sorokin - Nada Fue Un Error from his debut album "Coti", Coti Sorokin is one of the new blood argentinian rock/pop artists. His work is wide known in my country, specially as a songwriter, writting songs from a big number of other singers.

I once managed to get that album from the library - two years ago, when my musical taste was somewhat different than it is now. At the time, I found it so weird and strange, I couldn't stop thinking about it, I even had weird dreams of it! tongue.gif

Should I ever see it the library again, I'll grab it and see how much I like it now.

Now listening to Bruce Springsteen - Tunnel Of Love (1987). One of my favourites for sure.
