Almost 20% of your posts to this board have been to this one thread. Normally, that indicates that someone is trying to artifically inflate their post count, for some pointless reason (such as being called a 'senior member').

It would be quite possible for you to update your post to this thread every day, without posting a single new message, just by using the 'edit' button.

I suggest they do the same thing here as they've done on a Swedish site called SweClockers... Simply remove all "post counters" and member titles... The only titles allowed are "Member", "Admin", "Moderator" and some various warnings (the warnings have now been "moved" to another text underneath the avatar)... Though some moderators and admins do have special titles like "Evil moderator" and such which can be considered fun... wink.gif But since normal members cannot get any titles nor see the number of posts, there is simply no post spam, which is great... smile.gif

SweClockers uses the same forum software (older version here though) as this one so I suggest you take a look at it so you can see how you can make this forum almost 100% spam free... smile.gif

... wellllllll .....

I don't have the slightest interest in my membership status, nor upping my post count. Therefore I see no reason to go into convolutions in order to not increase my post count.

Some people (anal retentive), apparently, see membership status and post count as being very important. If they believe my posting here is a crime against humanity, I suggest they complain to the appropriate authority and request that I be banished from the board.

Sorry Dibbie, but by that display of musical preference I have hereby personally marked you as having a totally bonkers taste in music. It's not only ecclectic, it's outright nuts. Take it as a compliment biggrin.gif

NP: Eddie Izzard - Empires (from "Dress To Kill")
"Then the 30'es; Hitler, Checkoslovakia, Poland, France, 2nd World War, Russian front...Not a good idea! Hitler never played Risk when he was a kid. Cause we KNOW it was impossible to hold on to that Asia/Eastern Europe area in Risk. Seven extra men. We've all played it. Seven extra men at the beginning of every go for that Asia bit, but you could never hold it, could you? Azerbadjan would fuck off somewhere, then fucking Siberia..Come on Ukraine, hang on there...fuck it"

(Standup doesn't translate well into writing)

Will be followed by
Bontempo - Bespin (The Betrayal) and
Joe Satriani - What Breaks A Heart (from "Strange Beautiful Music")

Right now I am listening to the new Oasis CD I picked up a few days ago that came out back on July 2 ("Heathen Chemistry"). Noel show's that he can still write a set of stylish song's that are catchy and yet physchodelic as in "Force Of Nature", while sticking with the acoustically sound fit of "She Is Love". Noel also gives us a taste of Beatlemania in "Stop Crying Your Heart Out". Gem Archer show's us some rather elogant guitar work in "Hung In A Bad Place". Andy Bell delivers some nice instrumental insight in "A Quick Peep".Overall the highlight of the CD though is Liam's ability to be able to be able to write a mid placed melodic song in that off "Songbird" and show off his Lennon flavored vocals in "Born On A Different Cloud". Overall the whole CD is definitly well worth the trip.
Rommel
tonight:
Godspeed You Black Emperor - Lift yr. Skinny fists like antennas to heaven!
Sigur Ros - Agaetis Byrjun
kennedyb4
Holly Cole Trio. Piano, female voice(incredible),and a stand up bass.

Title - Talk to Me Baby

PS This is an unbelievably good reference recording. The naked voice and piano will reveal flaws quickly in poorly designed systems.
Cygnus X1
Pink Floyd's Animals, argueably their most under-rated album. It is encoded as MPC --standard, of course biggrin.gif

Heh. I would believe Ummagumma and The Final Cut are their most underrated. (Of course, I'm not counting More... and Obscured by Clouds)

I love Animals anyway. Specially the cover. biggrin.gif
