I don't know if this is possible since the source is closed but would there be any way to make WinAMP's equalizer adjust the settings of the Shibatch equalizer? This way we would have a good quality equalizer yet it would be easier to control. What are your thoughts on this idea?

Excellent idea. The number of bands is different so the gui would need to be altered.

Shibatch is excellent but definitely a little more awkward to use.

A sliding adjustment at 40hz would also be a bonus.

also, is there a site which has presets for the Shibatch equalizer? like rock, techno, live etc? similar to the ones found in winamps equalizer. or perhaps a site which has a tutorial on how to adjust an equalizer?

Absolutely no to presets. This equalizer is supposed to be used to correct acoustic disadvantages in both speaker and room etc.
There was a little guide written by Naoki, I have it somewhere, but I don't have the link sad.gif
