I have an odd problem with a CD-ROM...
When attempting to read an audio CD with multimedia add-on (in this case - Iron Maiden - Powerslave, but it happens with every similar CD), Windows 98 sees it as an empty CD. It also doesn't start the autorun, so the videos are imposible to view.

The installed version of ASPI drivers is 4.60. Oddly enough, his majesty EAC sees the CD normally, including the "Data track".

Does anyone know why does this happen? And is there a way to correct this?

Many thanks.

Did you load the CD with EAC shut down ? EAC, when running, prevents Windows to see what CD is inserted into the drive.

I did... it seems as the problem has nothing to do with EAC sad.gif

Can any program see the CD's contents? Have you tried ISO Buster?

No, I didn't try it, but yes, it seems as CloneCD sees the contents of the CD.
