hi...

for my mp3s i have an algorithm of tagging through freedb and using some formating string with masstagger. after that i rename them to a specific music-database format like "artist (date) album\tracknumber. title". now i have some problems with compilations. there is a mp3-file and a cue-file. i can tag the songs by using freedb as well. but renaming is a problem, bacause the mp3 file will be renamed but the cue will be left at its old place and i have to edit the cue manually to the new mp3-filename.

i also have a problem using the albumlist. its a great thing, the albumlist, but i always have 2 entries. the cue entries and the single mp3 entry. i tried using exactly the same tags for the mp3 except "tracknumber = 0" and "title = ' name of the album'". but it doesn't satisfy myself.

So how do you store/tag/rename mp3/cue combinations?

thanks for your help and suggestions

ciao
