Full Version: How to find Nero serial number in registry

I have just reinstalled Nero 5.5.9 from an OEM CD that came with my LiteOn CD burner. I now wish to upgrade to the latest version of Nero 6, however as part of purchasing a serial number the webpage asks for the serial number for my previous OEM version of Nero 5.5. Unfortunately I do not know where my serial number is, it seems I have placed the Nero CD in a different sleeve to the one it came with, as there is nothing written on the outside. I was not asked to enter any serial number during the installation. Under the ABOUT NERO box it just says it is version 5.5.9.13 BUNDLED, it does not list a serial number.

I am wondering if the serial number is written somewhere in the windows registry so that I can just access that so that I can enter it in the webpage. At the moment it simply isn't allowing me to purchase an upgrade because I do not have a valid serial number.

Try this from Ahead's site:
