Not that I know of. From your post in another thread, I made a 384 kbps mp3 (lame --freeformat -b 384) and couldn't get it to play with any of the three decoders I know of (default mpglib, foo_mad, and the 'secret' foo_mpg123). Not much, but at least it's a reply.

Can't blame people for not knowing of any wink.gif (and 24h before a thread bump is usually courteous).

None that I know of.

If you want them to be supported, your best bet is finding a developer interested in modifying the MAD input component sources to work with freeformat mp3 files.

The problem is not foo_mad, which ist just a packetdecoder and (according to kode54) supports all framesizes madlib does.
But: foo_input_std's MP3 Parser does not accept freeformat input and hence doesn't pass on data to decode. This behaviour is correct, since freeformat files are not (and IMHO should not be considered) MP3s.
