Greetings fellow audioheads,

I've lurked comfortably here for at least 9 months and regardless am perfectly aware of the irony, considering its content, of this, my first post.

What's stirred me out of my silence is that over the last few weeks, I've noticed an increase in the number of questions that have basically been answered many times already.

While some forums have a few sticky threads, the FAQ section of this site has remained uncompleted since its introduction (this is not intended as a criticism, as I'm very grateful for all the work performed by all the site admins). Personally, I'm not a huge fan of sticky threads, as I don't find them an efficient way of conveying information (too much 'noise' from followup posts).

Is anyone currently working on any FAQ content at the moment? If not, well I'm offering my services to coordinate and assist in the implemention of such an adventure (with appropriate consultation of domain-specific experts, of course).

Here's an initial structure:

What does everyone think? Complete waste of time? If not, who wants to volunteer to write some content? wink.gif

Hi. We have almost all of this stuff documented already in our very extensive Faq's and guides which have not been made public yet. They are part of a major overhaul of this site which is in progress as we speak. There have been a few holdups on this over the last few months due to various people in the project being busy with Real Life issues, but things are back on track now and more information about all of this should be coming out before too long.

If you'd like more details, feel free to private message me.
