Using Winamp5.04 and MPG123 .18y standard I have some MP3's that are cutting off short at the end of playback by a few seconds. If I use the Nullsoft in_mp3.dll it does not have a prob. It's only with these particualr MP3's I got and I don't exactly know why it should be different to any other MP3's I have. They playback fine.

Anyone got a clue what is happening?

EDIT: EncSpot says the MP3's are encoded with Lame 3.93 but if I hex edit one it mentions Xing in the header info. Hope that gives someone a clue.

That's because they are VBR MP3s containing a Xing header, no need to worry about. wink.gif

Nullsoft's MP3 decoder does not account for encoder or decoder padding, while the MPG123 decoder accounts for its own padding and the encoder padding specified in the Lame/Xing header, so the files should be consistent with whatever they were encoded from.

But that should be much shorter than "a few seconds".
