I recently burned a cd in nero using flac files from a live show.. but it's gappy. how do I get rid of them?

Disable the 2 seconds gap between tracks by right clicking all tracks and selecting Properties.

Notice that the first track needs to have a 2 seconds pre-gap.

The few times I've burned gapless in Nero all I had to do was set the "silence between tracks" to zero by doing exactly what Sebastian said. I didn't bother with a pre-gap, because when I went to burn, Nero pops up a window saying the first track needs a pre-gap and then it corrects it for me. Works every time.

This is a bit off-topic. But i am wondering if i can burn gapless CDs in Nero from mp3s if they are lame encoded. If a mp3 is encoded by lame, the number of samples should be a multiply of 588. Right? And then i could easily write an album truly gapless on a CD-R by decoding it in Foobar and adding the files in Nero (with 0 sec. pause).

I recently gave Foobar's gapless CD writing a try (Nero must be installed) when I discovered it the other day (had been using the normal version, didn't know about the special one). As a test I used the Gladiator soundtrack which is a gapless album for majority of it. Played the burned CDRW in the DVD player of our home theater and it worked great, no pops or pauses between tracks that weren't supposed to have them. Original files were APE, but I'm assuming LAME MP3's would come out fine as well since Foobar is able to play them back as gapless, as long as they were ripped properly to begin with (I use EAC's default gap settings).

Yeah. LAME decoded mp3s via foobar2000 will burn gaplessly. Check out burrrn as a great alternative.
