Anyone seen problems with VIA chipsets and NVIDIA video cards when you have a lot of disk activity such as ripping/encoding music? I have an AMD system running XP Home w/ KT4AV motherboard ( KT400 Via ) + an NVIDIA 5200 FX video card. I can easily get my system to cause a reboot if I start ripping music while browsing the internet say in FireFox. Anyway, I have read rumors that VIA chipsets in combination with any sort of AGP graphics can cause lockups.
Anyone else seen this problem?

I would hazard a guess to say that you have some bad memory. Try running memtest86 or memtest86+

first disable automatic system reboot in case of failure (in system properties/advanced/startup and recovery), then you'll probably be able to determine what the problem is...
