I use eac and lame.exe to enocode my cds
i would like to know if it could be dangerous use eac and external lame in background ....
lame need a lot of cpu , and my fear is to get clicks and pops...
As long as you computer is stable, you should be fine.
The best way to find out is to give it a whirl.
I myself Ripp and Wavpack and the same time and i have no clicks pops or cow noises in any of my encodings.
If your super paranoid, you can set the Extraction and compression priority to idle in the EAC options, but normal should be fine.
Still it all comes back to "see if it works" sort of logic.
hope it helps
