Full Version: Cycle playlists with the keyboard?

Is there a way to cycle through playlists with a keyboard shortcut?

The Problem: I'm building permanent listening stations (headphones and loudspeaker nodes) into my home and want to use Foobar as the front-end using a simple push-button pad to emulate keystrokes to the PC built into the panel in the wall, so listeners dont' have to use a trackball or traditional keyboard.

I see that we presently have the ability to PLAY, PAUSE, etc., but no way I can see to switch between tabbed playlists--which include everything from music files to Internet radio stations.

Any ideas? Is this something for the development team for the next version?

BTW, being able to select replay mode (default, random, repeat, etc.) with the keyboard would be great too

Ehm.. You CAN cycle through playlists with keyboard shortcuts. Just set a key for [main] Playlist/Next playlist and [main] Playlist/Previous playlist.

You can also select the playback orderds with [main] Playback/Order/xxx
