There is an midi-input component called foo_emidi at
http://www.vesta.dti.ne.jp/~tsato/soft_fb2k_test.html

It seems to be an alpha or beta version.
It's working but using about 25% of cpu-time.

I don't know anything detailed as the page is written in japanese.

Anyone else knows more about it?

I tried it. Not configurable, plain replay of midi files without use of any synthesizer (e.g. DirectMusic), no support for Soundfonts/GUS Patches. Blah...

Cool! A clean object oriented clone of GXSCC for Foobar2000! Now, I wonder if the author would be interested in sharing his source code, at least with me, so I can add this as an optional output device in foo_midi... If not, I could try importing his input service, since my input can handle conversion to SMF as well as loop point indicators. Looping may be a bit annoying since its seeking capability seems to be rather slow.

His E-Mail address is included in other plugins on the site, but I guess he doesn't understand english, since he used a translator-bot for the english language version of the plugin page.
Would be handy to have a translator here..
