Download it from here:
http://www.foobar2000-help.de.vu/

Installation
<0.1.2
Extract the zip file to the foobar folder. You need to keep the directory structure of the Zip file.
2.0beta
Extract it to the components Folder.
You need to keep the directory structure of the Zip file.

Restart Foobar, go to Preferences=>Display. Choose fooTunes in the User Interface Module.

But keep in mind that foo_tunes is buggy and isnt developed any further at the moment.

btw i dunno who created foo-tunes but isn't it possible to break foo_tunes in pieces and make plugins for features like the file explorer and the file info sidebar? i like them very much. I guess it's opensource right?
Sebert
It's not exactly open-source, but the author ne_me_sis
will send you the source if you want to continue development....

Sebert,

I tried version 0.1.2 and extracted the file into my foobar folder. I went to the pref. display chose foo tunes but on the window next to it, it said that page empty. It did not work. Since you said that foo tunes is buggy. Is there another plug in that would be able to do the same?

Someone may eventually develop UI extensions for Columns UI which can replicate at least the Explorer sidebar. Replicating a file info sidebar may be a little more difficult, especially if it is to support editing the information and optionally saving it when you select another file.

Tech crap, don't say I didn't warn you:

For one, it would need to play hell with certain callbacks to catch the selection focus, then would have to do considerably more to confirm/cancel saving, since it couldn't very well lock the callback that switched the focus. More likely, callback would send a message to all running instances of the extension, and let the extension window handler worry about strings which have changed, bugging the user, resaving the info, etc.

Did you restart foobar after choosing foo_tunes?
