I have been using FLAC for a couple of years now and I recently compared one of my FLAC files(compressed with the highest level for max qaulity) to a WAV file and the wav file had a better clearer sound. Well, I haven't been keeping up with compression technology for the past two years and I was wanting to know....is there a Lossless Codec that will sound just as good....I mean exact sound quality.....as a wav file?
Thanks,

FLAC is lossless, by nature it will be exactly the same as the wav used for input. Do a bit compare and you will see this. If they are not, then it is most likely a userside problem. If they are bit perfect and you think they sound different, it is probably because of EQ or FX in you player. This often happens in Winamp.
Do we really have to remind of TOS#8? Either your trolling, or you're grossly ignorant and aren't doing the slightest bit of research first. This post doesn't deserve an answer.

Why reply and be rude, then?
