hi all,

i have successfully managed to calculate the crc of the lame tag itself (first 190 bytes) and it always correctly matches to the HeaderCrc value.

but i dont manage to calculate the MusicCrc value. what am i doing wrong? i am starting calculating with the first audio frame, directly after the tagged frame, until the end of the file. the MusicLength value is also correct.

did something change with lame 3.92? where is the latest specs of the tag?

can someone please help?

thank you,

EncSpoy v2.0 calculates this one for you. But you don't get a CRC value, you just get 'Ok' as a result. (unless it's not ok, but I never saw that.) After scanning a folder with EncSpot, rigth-click a file and choose 'Lame Header'. Bottom of the pop-up box, that's where you'll find the CRC calculation.
