Sync Plugin???
When arriving at college, i found that it might be useful if my roomate and i could play the same song over the network at the same time. Would it be possible to steam a song over to the other computer and then sync the song? As of right now, the only way to 'sync' the speakers, is to have the two computer have the same song, and to push the play button at the same time. However, this is a pain becasue it usually don't work exact, and there is an echo. Im sure that this plugin would be useful to other users out there. I wish i had the programming ablility to make this pluging myself, but i don't. Can someone develop this plugin?? What do you guys think??

I think it would be useful. Then you could listen to the same thing on say xmms on linux elsewhere on the network and be synced which i something I've always had some interest in. Most streaming apps though like to buffer about 10-20sec of audio which causes a delay. So you'd either need an apps that doesn't buffer things, or does and delays playback the same amount on the serving box, or something else nothing like what I just said since I don't know what I'm talking about.

does no one else think that this would be a good plugin? People in college, wouldn't you not find this useful?

No! ... ..I mean.. ...yes! ..... ... you and your damned double negatives.
*mumble* It was a trick question, after all. I knew it.
