I grabbed the music folder first (iTunes Music) and copied it to another location. Next, I deleted all my library songs (from inside ITunes Prog), making sure all songs are deleted from the iTunes Music folder. After all this, I proceed to restore my Ipod. Re-loaded the new firmware. A good thing to do is to reboot your ipod before you disconnect from your PC. I reloaded all the songs from the copied folder, and now I don’t have any freezes. It works like a charm. The Ipod has even a faster response. Apparently, Ipods don’t like upgrades, only restores (Wipe out everything). So I recommend people with Ipod problems, to restore (No upgrades) their Ipods and reload their libraries. Thanks for your time.
