Guys, apparently there are few defective 4g Ipods out there. They exhibit a noise of interference at every start of a song. This is noticeable only with lossless encoded music. Everyone is waiting from Apple, answers regarding this issue. Be aware. Just buy from retailers with 30 days money back or wait for a resolution. Thanks for listening. ohmy.gif

Yeah this isn't a new issue. iPodLounge released this information quite a while back when the 4th gen iPod was released. Thanks for reporting this though. Hopefully a fix will be issued by Apple in the future.

I always recommend picking up a store warranty along with an iPod purchase. Like I got an extended 2 year warranty on my iPod with Circuit City so if my iPod fails or has any issues I can return it to them and they will give me $400 in cash to buy a new iPod or any other portable audio player I want. So if you get a warranty you shouldn't need to worry much about this stuff. Also it doesn't sound like this is happening to every new 4th gen iPod.
