Guys I'm still confused if I shall buy a passive or an active subwoofer, right now i'm much more confident on passive subs since my amp (stereo) can handle them very well, my 150 watts amp can also be bridged but I still don't know how I'll make my bridgeing.

Now I'm currently interested on a 300 watts rms subwoofer 2ohms + 2ohms (passive)

and another 500 watts rms subwoofer 4ohms


Which one would my amp handle better ? why ?

Just to clearify something if I decide to hook up one of the subwoofers stated above will I be forced to bridge my sysytem inorder to operate well ?

Will all my speakers turn into 1 channel mono or just the subwoofer ?

BTW i'm also interesed in other active subs but there is nothing I can discuss since they are self-powered.
