I’m looking for a good mass tag editor, specifically I’m looking to fix punctuation errors within my entire collection, example “Or" --> "or”. I’ve been using MP3 Tag Tools and its great and almost dose what I want, the only problem is I’d like to leave anything that is all caps as is. As far as I can tell the only way to accomplish this in MP3 Tag Tools is specify each word which isn’t an option. Anyone have any recommendations?
*edit*
To claify, all i want to do is drop the capitaliztion of certian words that shouldnt be capitalized. Example "Roni Size Reprazent - 0ut Of The Game", "Of" and "The" should not be capitlalized, I don't want to change anything else… if somthing is all in caps it should stay that way.

Abander Tag Control allows you to add words to always be lower case and vice versa. It's nearly as good overall as Tag&Rename, but does a few things that T&R can't and has excellent HTML export options.

Thanks for the reply but I don't think it’s what I need.....
Abander seems to be exactly the same as MP3 Tag Tools (as far as I can Tell), and isn't what I'm looking for. What I want to do is drop the case of only certain words, examples would be "and,an,it,a,the, for". I don't want the program to mess with anything else, such as the track "09 - DJ Shadow - Right Thing-GDMFSOB", I don't want "GDMFSOB" to lower case.
HELP!
I haven't used this software personally, but it does seem to (according to the screenshot) do what you want, that you can force certain words into upper or lower case, in the bottom - word lists.

If you need and advanced thingy like that then you might consider using TGF and a custonm script.
If I were you I'd also give a try to "Mp3 Tag Studio" (
http://www.magnusbrading.com/mp3ts/) which is quite impressive for its capitalization flexibility.
Here is a snapshot of the "Auto case fix settings" window:

TwoJ: Your right, I that that it will. I'm having a hard time applying the settings however, the interface is pretty complex.
smz: Damn, MP3 Tag Studio looks pretty impressive, I'll defiantly check it out.

UPDATE.....
Ok, I've made absolutely no progress. MP3 Tag Studio turned out to completely useless, for all its complex case features there is no way to stop the program from dropping the case of words that are all caps. Examples; the track "09 - DJ Shadow - Right Thing-GDMFSOB", "GDMFSOB" gets dropped, the artist "A.F.I" gets dropped to "A.f.i".
I'm still messing with Tag Control but I can't seem to figure out how to apply the settings, though it looks like they should work. I can edit tags but I can't seem to figure out how to run the case filter on them, there doesn’t seem to be any way to run it in the “editing” portion of the program. Either I'm doing something wrong or this the worst tag editor ever..... help

There's also
Tag and Tag Frontend. Unfortunately I don't know of any tagging program that will perfectly leave things such as A.F.I. capatalized, most I've seen can either create all lower-case, upper-case, or title-case. Even the most robust tagger may eventually have to be complemented with some manual tagging intervention either; in the program, or with your media player.

Well Abander Tag Control, the program that Galley posted should work. The problem is you can't use the word list feature without without using a general case filter. I guess I'm out of luck unless anyone else has a solution.

When you try all and fail you might want to re consider my first post.

Ok, I've got The GodFather up and running and it looks promising. I've done a few test runs and the only problem is it drops a few words that are all caps, examples "DJ" and few obscure titles like "Right Thing-GDMFSOB". Is there a way to force the program to leave such words in caps?

I don't know if this is correct or not, however perhaps using
Tag and Tag Frontend with the switch
--nomagic would work. Of course you'll need to use a good naming scheme to begin with. One I've used for a couple years is
A+Y+L+N+T+G using this I haven't had to do much manual editing, whereas before I was regularly having to manually edit tags.
