Full Version: Out-of-sync problem when remuxing ABR mp3 with "fixed&q

I downloaded an AVI movie (DivX3.11a with ABR mp3) which contained one video freeze.

I fixed this with AVIdefreezer. Unfortunately the new file contained only, no audio. So I extracted the audio with NanDubv1.0rc2 (saved as WAV - seems to be mp3 with WAV header).

When I remuxed the fixed video and the WAV however, the audio and video are grossly out of sync - by seconds in many if not all places.

I'm sure it is the ABR mp3 audio which is causing this prob (previous movies with video freezes had fixed rate mp3 and were no problem to fix).

How to get the audio and video back in sync???

thanx

I found the solution was to mux audio as VBR mp3 rather than WAV. NanDub recognizes the WAV it extracted as mp3 with a WAV header.
