I think it's ok to discuss this in one of the technical forums here, since this library certainly is used a lot for audio processing.

But I agree it's offtopic in this thread.

Garf, sure, it's ok to discuss it here. I just pointed Alexander to where he could get more info. Last thing on my mind is complaining about off-topicing...

Thank, but I have no questions of work with Intel IPPs, the user's guide is full enough.

I have simply disagreed with Garf that the FIR-filter is replaced with the FFT-filter and has put forward my arguments.

Your answer too simple

The FIR filters can't be maps to equivalent FFT filters, because FIR-filters can work with any numbers of samples, and FFT filters work only with blocks of samples size similar 128, 256, 512 etc. Or I am wrong?
