hey, i'm a noob when it comes to using cuesheets. i'm wonderring if the are any good sites explaining how to write one or if anyone is willing to pin a good syntax tute on this forum.

i realize i can make one from eac ... and that's cool and all, i just want a little more power. by knowing the syntax, i can make my own for specific jobs.

here's a specific job i'd like to use it for, making mix cd's. am i wrong in assuming that cuesheets can be used to mark track and gap points in a wav file? so if i make an 80 minute long wave file that mixes and crossfades many tracks (say in like adobe audition's multitrack view), i can then use a cue sheet to mark where the track indexes go. that's why i want to understand the syntax.

thanks for any help ...

You could always make one and have a look at the syntax yourself. It's the easiest way to learn it....
