why doesn't Cdex support MPC encoder by default??
and will Cdex support APE 2.0 tags in the future??

Because LAME is the default encoder. People want MP3, not MPC. :-P



I suggest you add a feature request at CDex' page.

i specified the correct path for mppenc.exe and left the parameter line empty (for default mpc settings).

when i tryed to encode, mppenc.exe dos window opens for a sec, and then i get the error: cannot send data to external encoder
