i have some SWF flash movies and wanna burn them to VCD

any ideas?

actually...ho....if my flash file is game type....can i play the game too even though i burn it to VCD?

You will lose any interactivity options. So, no, you won't be able to play the game.

sure no interactivity. just movies, not games

i wish there were a good way to extract the sounds. you can simply rename a copy to mp3, load it in mp3directcut and export for some movies, but the encrypted ones don't allow this (you get jumbled blocks).

sound card digital loopback is a good way to get the sound out, but that means transcoding of course.

as for getting the video out, i don't have quicktime pro, but have got good results by simply playing the movie back through Director at a slow speed (one your computer and avi codec can keep up with, in my case about 4-5fps). then change the framerate later.

hmm... i think the above method violates the DMCA. don't use it on encrypted files smile.gif
