i need a way to scientificcally prove y my friends (or me) whatever hs newly bought silver speaker wires was worth the cost compared to nomal 220v cables/cat5 cables

Offcause this needd to be a blind test as i'm betting that the improvements he says has got, is plain placebo.
His Equipmen should be considered high-end with som hefty priced B&W speakers


i was considering doing first af trial of fake 4 non-blind test runs

That way if he can actually hear en improvements the placebo effects is proving itself with out much hazzle from my point. off cause i'm goign to fake the cables shifting /making som noise etc etc. while he is in the next room

This guy works with A/V so it should be fun to see the results

"Improvements" may not necessarily be placebo if the old speaker wire was old -- very old, and caused audible problems. I started encountering static in my receiver because the old Monster Cable was too close to a heating vent and prematurely wore-out, or was slowly roasted to failure over a few years. Another possibility for "improvements" is making sure the polarity matches.

Four blind test runs are not enough to prove something. He can very well find the good answers by chance.
Avoid CAT5 cable, as it was already ABXed on this board ( http://www.hydrogenaudio.org/forums/index....ndpost&p=148461 )
