Hello people. I have a 5.1 speakers system, with an audigy sound card. I really don't play games, but watch DVD with them.
I would like to listen beauty and peaceful music or sounds with my computer through the 5.1 system while I work with the computer, something like the sound of rain and storms, so I can hear all the sounds surrounding me...
Do you know something I can get or buy ?
You could try DVD Audio discs if you have Audigy2 or DVD Audio discs with audio content encoded in the DVD Video portion with any sound card (if latter, check the disc in question has "Dolby Digital" on the package somewhere).

Bjorn Lynne Music in .ac3
Swedish Radio Demo in DTS .wav
need to be converted to normal DTS, use
DTSParser or
BeSplit.exe -core( -input "%1.wav" -output Output.dts -type dtswav -fix )
and you need
DTS / AVI Filters - dtssource.ax to play them
there is also some .ac3 files on the old drivers cd of the audigy 1

You may also choose to use foobar2000 as it has a ac3 decoder.
