Interesting, in what stage is the new audio codec now ?
This year June we saw PS beta release for testing, but after 4 month still no official release or any news
Is this a marketing problem or new codec is still under development ?

Have you never witnessed "announce 'n amaze" before?

Implementing a feature as this one takes time obviously and it's worked to perfection as thoroughly as possible. I'm sure there's quite a crowd expecting a soon release of updated encoder software in a very near future.
