I spent quite a while developing a bash script that takes my cds and encodes them to mp3s, it took a long time to get the id3tags to work, but they finally did. I've been thinking about cleaning it up a bit and posting it. Would anyone have a use for it? It runs the files through mp3gain at the end also; the mp3gain source will compile under linux if anyone didn't know. I just have to get the lame settings exactly right, alt preset standard didn't sound very good i don't thinkg. Okay, just wondering if anyone would find it useful, i'll clean it up a bit to make it work a little better and less dependencies. Let me know if you're interested.

edit// does anyone know if notlame is exactly equivalent to the standard lame? I don't remember anymore exactly where it came, i just got it because it was precomiled for linux.
