I've been thinking of getting an ibook lately...
But i really enjoy listening to the music, after i've used foobar2000 on the pc, i certainly don't think itunes can ever keep up with it.
I'm looking for software able to play flac, ape, shorten, and other lossy compressed files.
I hope you who have been using macintosh know any program that is sufficient for my need.

otherwise i think i'm gonna have to figure out how to make foobar work on OsX, with virtual pc perhaps...
(if you know this is able to be done and foobar works well in virtual pc, tell me please.)

thanks a lot...

foobar2000 does work with vpc, at least as of several versions ago. I haven't tried it recently, but I'd imagine it still works OK. Only problem is that vpc is bit of a heavyweight solution just for an audio player :/
