Is there a way (with current plugins) to export the database and current playlists automatically in a well defined format?

My reason for asking is that I stream music from a server accross the house using slimserver (www.slimdevices.com) and would ideally like to sync the playlists and music libary between this and foobar. Slimsever provides the means to do this with iTunes, but I don't want to go there! (my music collection is in flacs for a start).

Ideally I would be able to export the database and playlists automatically to say m3u format into a specified directory on foobar closedown/whenever they are changed.

As my music is actually on a linux server and I run slimserver on this, I probably need to alter the exported playlists to change the file location (drop the windows drive letter etc), but I can do this in slimserver as it is written in perl and easy to mod. The bit that is illuding me at present is the foobar side of things.

If there are no current plugins, is there anyone who develops for foobar and has an interest in synchronising with slimserver?
