Having just left another similarly-aimed discussion forum (FeadHi or something like that) almost in disgust, I am excited and amazed to find a portion of the web dedicated to any kind of objective analysis.

I recognize that it is really difficult to be objective about most things, most of the time, but the Hydrogenaudio ToS are such a refreshing breath. Juxtaposed against the redundancy of "I've spent 870 years as a recording engineer, and have invested approximately $300 Billion in recording equipment; therefore, my arbitrary determinations are gospel--and shove it up your ass if you doubt their veracity," one can only imagine how wonderful a discovery this has been to me.

I'm of the Randi.org-type means of analyzing virtually everything; HA is so neato, for essentially referring everyone to its own "Million Dollar Challenge" in the form ABX test results. I love the "put up or shut up" notion, in all situations.

Sorry for not finding a perfect topic under which to author this post; I spent some time looking. But in case you happen to have begun taking this forum for granted, maybe take a step back, to recognize how cool it is. Oh yeah, and considering the rarity of sincere sentiment on the Internet, I don't blame people for possibly thinking I am being sarcastic, since this post is kinda sappy.
