Hi,

I am looking for a standalone AACPlus encoder program that is based on the Coding Technologies v2 AACPlus encoder. I have heard that Orban has an AACPlus v2 encoder, but I haven't seen any reviews about it or its quality. Also I don't need a streaming encoder, but one for existing audio files (WAV, WavPack, etc). Does anyone have info about or experience with this Orban encoder or other AACPlus encoders based on the CT codecs?

What I would really like is a way to make my AACPlus radio streams using Adobe Audition, but I prefer not to use the Nero encoder or Nero Audition plug-in. That is why I am looking for a Coding Technologies based AACPlus encoder.

It seems Real and AOL/Nullsoft have licensed the CT AACPlus player code, but not the CT encoder code that they include in an AACPlus encoder app which they offer for sale.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

P.S. I have heard rumours of Apple possibly including an AACPlus encoder (based on CT codec perhaps?), but not anything "for sure".

You can use Real Producer to encode to CT's AACplus, IIRC

3gpp has the source code of ct's he aac + ps encoder. You can download it from their web page though it doesn't support 44.1 kHz.
