Hi,

I'm very new to fb2k and would be grateful for some help with the masstagging feature.

Is it possible to fill the ID3 tag 'album' field on all my mp3 files according to the name of the folder that they are in? i.e. if a bunch of mp3s are in a folder named "a" the album field in the ID3 tag will be changed to "a". I just want the album field to be changed nothing else. If it is possible, how do I go about doing it???

many thanks!
Florian
You should read picmixer's Unofficial Beginners Guide to foobar2000's masstagger. The section Extracting Information from Relative File Paths might be a interesting read.

Just set up a new action "Guess values from filename...", enter
CODE
%artist%\
, press OK and then apply this action to the selected files.
