Full Version: question about 5.1 sound files
Can foobar2000 play 5.1 sound files? i know i can play stereo files in 5.1 but i when i tried to play a 6ch dts file i heared only two front channels upmixed in 5.1.

6ch files work fine here. Check your DSP for anything that could cause it. Also, what output are you using and soundcard? Do you have 5.1 speakers?

it works now!! thank you! i just unloaded all dsp's and then put them all back (using just volume control and equalizer).. i don't believe i didnt think of it...

Sorry if this is obvious, but I like to know what plugin you use to playback DTS encoded files. I would like try that too
