Hi ppl,
I'm a rookie here, and I'm new to AAC encoders and decoders.
I have just downloaded FAAC-1.24 and FAAD2-2.0.
However, I have no idea how to compile them and to make use of them?
What are their input files and output files?
Can someone give me a detailed instruction on how to use VC6 to compile the coders?
Thanks a lot!!!
Jan S.
You can get compiles at http://rarewares.org/.

Thank you, but I have the audio coders and visual studio 6.
The problem is I don't know how to use VS6 to compile the encoders and decoders.
Can you tell me how to do it?

Sorry, I'm new here.
I will specify the topic next time.
Btw, is there a way to change the name of the topic after I posted it?

no, there isn't. in important/specific cases/threads you could ask a admin/moderator(?) to change to topic name (i.e. not here IMHO).

Thanks.

I don't get it...

If you are a newbie and you have the binaries already compiled why bother to compile them yourself???

If you don't know how to use VS, you should educate yourself first and attempt to compile something less complex than FAAC/FAAD.
