Hi there, i try to save some albums i need to sell (dam school cost a lot) using a method who consist of making an image with EAC and encoding this image with Ogg. I found this a great way to save an album and i put the cue sheet in comment tag. But my problem is sometimes i want to make compilations for friends, how can i extract singles easily from a complete album saved in 1 ogg file ??

Also, i`m using ogg at 10.0 setting, it's a total waste of space or it's the best way to keep must of the audio information ?

Why are you making an image of the cd? Just extract each track as a wav file then compress them. This will make a seperate file for each song, which you can organize using folders.

Yes, q10 is a complete waste of space. Most people can't tell q6 apart from the original cd.

Hi Soren,
Since you are not keeping the original disks, why not lossless?
I personally perfer individual tracks, using EAC+Monkey Dll to ape on-the-fly.
BTW, long time I dont see you at absm.*
