I found that Lame 3.96.1 turns the "--nspsytune" switch on by default (or just when I use some switches, like -V 0 or so).
Can anyone tell me how to turn this switch off?
And furthermore, is there a list of switches related to the psychoacoustic models?
(like GPSYCHO or so)
I tried searching through the --longhelp switch, the "Full command line switch reference" and through the 'net, but I can't find anything similar.

Forgive the noob question, but I just can't find it... sad.gif

--psymodel 0/1/2, but this only works in debug mode
Jojo
why would someone want to remove this switch?

To keep people from turning it off probably... If you meant, why would they want to turn it off--then yeah, that would be lame.

EDIT: Haha, "lame" as in not cool... Gotta be careful
Gabriel
No problem, it can only be turned off in debug or alpha builds, so regular users are not able to turn it off.
