Why not encoding FHG Mp3enc v.3.1 over 128kbps in Win2K SP2 CZ? Interpreter print translate this:"This program used another process".For 128kbps and lower bitrates works fine tested with Various standard wavs 16/44,SW is CDex 1.50b7,EAC various versions and direct commandline batch encoding.I need compare this vs other codecs in all bitrates.

"Mp3enc -br xxx000 -qual x -if % infile -of % outfile"

thanks for reply....and sorry for my bad english....

It crashes on my Win2k too.

Seems to be a bug.

Has anyone tested with WinXP?

Use apcompat.exe to run mp3enc 3.1 with Win2000. apcompat is located in the /Support -directory of Windows 2000 CD.

Just run mp3enc using Win98-mode selected from the apcompat settings. I don't remember if you need to also check the "disable Heap Manager on Windows 2000"-setting. Anyway, it should work..
