DX Rack - FFX-4. dx/vst plugins for winamp. dsp plugin.

foo_dsp_Foobar2WinampPlugin. Winamp dsp-s for foobar.

I use the dx version of the "iZotope Ozone" with foobar! It's wonderful!!

...I think these work only in 16 bit ...

Thank you jlaczko

Why 24-32 bits ?

as soon you apply effects you need to dither, because good DSP effects have an internal resolution like 32 bits or more.

Now all good cards have 24 bit DAC , so why dithering to 16 bits only ?

The only solution I know is to do :

foobar -> "wave driver loopbak *" -> "host 32 bits "live" applications **" -> vst/directx ->Dither

* like virtual audio cable or Lynx L22 loopback device
** like N-Track

Would be nice to avoid all these ....

Cheers

Good news,

I begin to use the convolver in foobar , used like an equalizer.
I use adobe audition (internal 32) /direct-x equalizer to edit my mono 2sec/32bits impulse file

The result is really fantastic, with less artifact then a regular "live" equalizer

to create the impulse file look here

Hi

You mentioned a few weeks back that you had managed to get Ozone DX and Foorbar to work. I have used Ozone and Winamp before and it worked great. However have download the trial of Ozone DX 3.07 and cannot for the life of me work out how to plug into Foorbar. Would you mind giving me some instructions! :-)

Thanks m8
