i always get a sync error on the last track of a cd and eac reports the error as being in the very last second.

i have caching turned off, c2 is off, i have my offsets set to what is listed on http://www.accuraterip.com/driveoffsets.htm for my drive (curious if i should reverse this, it says +48 so should i set it to -48?), i test & copy...

i never got this error before when i used to not use offset correction.

just wonderring what's goin' wrong?

thnaks for any feedback.

1. You don't have to reverse it. The values posted are already the read offset corrections.
2. Try disabling overreading into the lead-out, as your drive might not support that. AFAIK, only true Plextor devides have that feature.

Some Lite-On and Pionneer drives can overread as well. But the inability to overread the lead-out is what causes a sync error at the end of last track when you have a positive offset correction value.

oh, my bad!
i thought overread helped prevent sync errors by reading more than was on the disc just to make sure it got everything. i'll give that a go, thanks folks.
