RIAA sued today major US ISPs ( AT&T Broadband, Cable & Wireless USA, Sprint Corp., Advanced Network Services and UUNET Technologies) in a move to block a website that provides access to copyrighted material (music, more exactly). The surprise is they're asking banning the website, altough those ISPs haven't anything to do with the hosting of the mentioned site. So, what's next, to sue CD-Rs factories because they provide a medium for copying copyrighted material, or better, why not ban tapes also! I think if the RIAA's intention is successful even this website is in danger.
