Hiya WILU,
I uninstalled f2k, will try to explain the reason as short as possible.
The solution to write CD with nero 5.5.10.56 might work for other users, too:
1.
SAVED + deleted nero S/N-key from registry. NO REBOOT after!(in my case took "RegSeeker".
ADD keys to registry again when you want to
use Nero. REBOOT!) --> Then you will get the message in foobar again "Cannot write CD" (initialize nero lib failed...").
2. f2k: > 18 Tracks (mp3s) > highlighted > ReplayGain > scan selection as album
3. CLIPPING DETECTED -> 18/18 = each file!
Someone told me that foobar changes the volume to 89%, which in this case is not enough! (can clearly see the clipping in nero wave editor graph, and therefore reduced the volume to ~60% peak ONCE WRITING CD WITH NERO!).
4. --> Foobar > "WriteAudioCD" (DOES WORK THIS WAY, since nero S/N del in reg!) "can only write at slowest speed" > took a CD-RW!
5. Once CD burned, put it in CD-Player (stereo-equipment). Played 1 time. 2nd time showed over 90min playtime! Could not play anymore (wasn't recognized by CD-player anymore!).
Note: my CD-Player can play all formats, also unfinished CD-R, CD-WR, MP3s, even if lots longer than 74min!!! [Marantz CD-7300].
Result:
After I seemed to have detected that foobar cannot reduce volume without avoiding clipping, and there is no way (to my poor knowledge) to set the volume to a certain level for each file seperately, PLUS the fact that there is NO GRAPH where I can see the frequency-range of the files, I decided to uninstall foobar, since there is no use for me to work with it that way!
Instead I handle all sorts of features (sound, volume, etc. [almost all kinds of - is like a studio]) in nero wave editor, ALTHOUGH THAT MEANS LOSS OF QUALITY! (MP3ProEncoderPlugin).
I deeply regret that Foobar has not got those features, since lossless coding!
