Hi,

This is my first post, and couldn't find the answer in previous posts.

It seems foobar reads CD Audio information as data, which makes my DVD reader speeds up to it's maximum reading speed while reading the music and therefore creating a lot of noise.

I've tryied slowing the reading speed using Nero's CD Speed, but it's still reading too fast for comfort (about 10X).

While using other software (WinDVD, Media Player etc...) there is an option to read from CD Audio that results in a much slower reading speed from the burner/reader, is there any way we can set foobar to accomplish this?

j.

ps. Please don't tell me to rip the CD to the hard drive...

Ever tried looking for the option in foobar's preferences?
