Full Version: Are there any other Ogg Vorbis frontends

I must say I am seriously *impressed* with the way RazorLame (even though last updated three years ago) chooses to divert the log output of the Lame EXE to a Windows-type window instead of a command line window.

I was wondering if anybody had made a similar type of frontend for Ogg Vorbis? Or is Oggifier the only proper Ogg frontend atm?

Well, Vorbis support is on the wishlist wishlist for RazorLame.
And the sourcecode is available. In fact RazorLame can encode Ogg Vorbis with oggenc, but you don't see what happens or when encoding is finished. I have tried it. To make a "RazorVorbis" you need to arrange it to display output from oggenc.exe instead of lame.exe

Have you tried Oggdrop? Frontah is also a good frontend.

How's the Ogg version that Frontah uses, is it still adviced to use?

The Vorbis version that Frontah uses is whatever oggenc.exe file you put in the Frontah program directory.

Oh, thanks for the tip. Now I could easily try it out.
