Is it possible to update the Rarewares FAAC compile (July 2004) with the bug fixes from August 2004 (I believe it fixed some tagging problems), if available?

The current Rarewares compile does not tag all the tracks correctly or in some cases misses out encoding tracks completely. This happens in more than one ripper. I have mentioned it to Hans-Jurgen via another forum.

Many thanks.

Thanks for this. However the same problem persists with certain tracks not being encoded. For example it on testing with the Futureheads debut tracks 4 and 13 were not encoded despite having very short track titles. Trying to grab these tracks and encode one at a time also fails. (tested on dbpoweramp and Audiograbber)

FAAC also fails miserably with The Shop Assistants "Will Anything happen" album failing to encode over half the tracks.

I will post a bug at Audiocoding.

Hmm, I tested one CD and it worked fine. All tracks copied with complete tags. I used EAC though.

Yes you're right. Works fine in EAC. Not sure why it did not work with the other rippers though. Thanks again.

YAWN. Yes thanks. Great for line-in sampling.
