Which one has better sound quality?

Thanks!

Try these. Seems like mixed results. the everythingusb.com page says something along the lines of: "Sound quality could have been much better. It's nice for a portable device but doesn't compare to 'real' sound cards."

I thought you only recently purchased the Chaintech? What's wrong with it? I have no idea what DACs are used in these devices. In your other thread someone was praising the good DAC on the Chaintech. The one on the Chaintech is 24bit while the one in the Xitel only has 20bit. (I'm not saying that fact alone would result in any form of audible difference, but at least the Chaintech has more potential.) Besides that, the Xitel only has stereo output. The Chaintech allows the flexibility to go multhichannel for movies.

Yes, I just got the Chaintech. There's nothing wrong with it. I'm just always looking for something better. . . tongue.gif
